In January 2004, Freedom Nutritional Products and Ian Thorpe became partners in two exciting food and beverage joint ventures. The first one will develop and manage the THORPEDO brand around the world. The second venture relates to Ian's promotion and development of existing and new Freedom Nutritional products, especially seafood and the Paramount brand. This is an exciting Australian venture and given the growing community interest in health, wellbeing and nutrition we are very excited about delivering our better health message to all people.

Ian Thorpe is Australia's most successful Olympic athlete. He is arguable the greatest swimmer the world has ever seen. In our view he is an ideal person to promote health, nutrition and functional foods to the wider community.

Our first product is THORPEDO ADVANCED HYDRATION. The first ultra low GI (Glycemic Index) energy water on the market. Over time we will develop and launch a range of leading edge better-for-you products. So stay tuned.
