Specialty Seafoods is a sales and marketing business distributing premium quality
Alaskan salmon products and premium Altantic herring (sardines) under its two
brands Paramount (Salmon) and Brunswick (Sardines). Specialty Seafoods enjoys
ongoing support from major retailers and a loyal consumer base developed over a
long period of time for both brands in Australia and New Zealand. The Business
also supplies certain retailers private label sardines in New Zealand.
 
In the year ended 30 June 2009, Specialty Seafood had gross sales revenues of A$25m.
 
Since acquiring and merging the Paramount and Brunswick brands, the Business has
maintained its position as number two in proprietary branded Salmon and number one
in proprietary branded Sardines in the grocery market in Australia. Brunswick is the
market leader in sardines in the New Zealand grocery market.
